Hi. I came across this website while doing some research and thought it would be a perfect opportunity to provide vendors with information on how they can solve most of their business development challenges without additional costs, time, and energy.

Some of the challenges I'm referring to include the cost and time involved with chasing leads that don't go anywhere (lead was a shot in the dark to begin with, you may not have been a real good fit, talking with the wrong people), closed deals that shouldn't have never been closed, (reputation suffers, costs of support trying to fix the situation after the fact, and resources pulled from other areas), failed lead generation programs (bad leads that discouraged sales team, no leads or ROI, prospects had no familiarity with your company), or loss of opportunity because you were not aware it existed.

"E" Factor Leads eliminates these challenges and others by using a match-making scoring system that ensures you are a good fit before the lead is offered. After receiving specific information relating to the opportunity you decide if you want to purchase the lead. All information pertaining to the lead is guaranteed to be accurate. There is no obligation and no other costs. Your only investment to get started is the 10-15 minutes it takes to complete the Vendor Lead Specification form. The completed form is downloaded into our system and as soon as you are matched with one of our clients, we send you the lead information. It's that simple.

I'm looking forward to adding you as a Vendor Partner and being part of your continued success!

Hi forum members,

I am taking the liberty to introduce myself to the group.

I am first of all pleased to see familiar faces in the forum and hope to make new acqaintances here.

Most of what I do is in my profile, so take a peep and leave me a comment as you please.

I am being referenced as either a 'capacity builder' or as 'one of the best networked people on-line' - neither probably reveals the truth, I am just a simple guy with a complex brain. :)

I am always open to share knowledge and to look at opportunities with mutual value.

I look forward to contribute, interact and learn from this forum.
Have an ACCELERATing day.
Best regards
Joris Claeys

FOURTH SHIFT -- Anyone with any experience with this would be my new best buddy if you share your knowledge, impressions, insights. It's the system I'll soon be using, so no need to try to convince me that something else is better - at this point, that isn't the issue. Thanks for any input at all! -Mark 8/2/08

Aberdeen Global Visibility White Paper.pdfMany companies still do not have timely visibility into the critical processes involved in global supply chain management, despite the heightened attention to this area in recent years. This often prevents companies from accessing information quickly enough to be able to use it for decision making. Companies that do track enough milestones often suffer from poor data quality and factual inaccuracies in forecasts and reports. For those that track the key supply chain events and have advanced visibility strategies to support supply chain decision-making, it is critical not to overwhelm internal stakeholders with information but to instead provide them with the tools to extract the best possible intelligence from the data they have – while keeping the amounts of data manageable. Companies must move from merely tracking their supply chain events to performing advanced analysis in order to drive profound changes in their supply chains.

Our company can assist those of you seeking to improve global visibility. I have attached a great white paper for your review.

Microsoft by leaps and bounds. If you want a scalable solution for business operations then I would recommend Microsoft Dynamics CRM. On premise, hosted, mobile usabliltiy and online. All these options are available to any sized business to start creating efficiencies in operations of all areas of your business. Most importantly it is more cost effective than most solutions out there. www.collinscomputing.com

You may be interested in seeing our brand new Novus Case Study that demonstrates the business value of a B2B integration
solution for outbound logistics. This case study may be more
interesting than most because of what it is not about. The solution
BIT implemented for Novus does not include:
• Software that requires a license fee
• A hosted service with a transaction fee
• Use of an industry exchange or messaging hub
• A focus on technology
It does include:
• Leveraging open source software
• Enabling trading partners with little or no investment in
messaging infrastructure
• A win-win approach for both sides of the business relationship
• Industry standards for messaging and for technical
architecture
• A focus on business benefits and how to achieve them

Please go to
http://businessintegrationtechnology.com/PDF/NovusCaseStudy.pdf to
download the case study. Let me know if you have any questions or if
there is anything we can do to help you be successful in your
integration initiatives.

Best regards,

Fred

Dunno about Maximo, but for SAP vs JDE:
SAP is way more robust than JDE, with a strong Technical infrastructure and stable modules.
BUT... SAP is rigid and JDE is flexible, even after going live.

Conclusion:
If your company is willing to have all its process rigid and matching the industry Standards, go for SAP.
If your company, or even one department in your company, is not fully buying in the ERP project and tends to reproduce the old crappy way it did manage the Supply Chain, go for JDE.

You can recover from a JDE bad implementation, you cannot with SAP.
